The Wilkins House
The Wilkins House, with horse and buggy in front. Peter Wilkins bought the property on Pacific Avenue, between Lincoln and Cathcart, from architect Thomas Beck. A small house, built by Beck in 1856, stood on the lot (house to the left?). Wilkins moved the house over and built the two-story hotel in the 1870s
it was torn down in 1941.
