An Automation-Proof Job-Turning Out Grape Stakes
Phil Hartman remembers the mill he worked at in the late 1800s as putting out 90 cars of lumber per day to send to San Jose. He was also the constable and remembered how he would use the water troughs in the town used to keep down the dust as a way to take care of drunks he was arresting. Hartman and Karm are well known for their work in making “split stuff” applying their knowledge of wood grain and filling a need for people who manage gardens and need new fences.
