The bridge is near the intersection of Zayante and Lompico Road and is too narrow for today;s standards. It is being funded by Federal funds from the Bridge Rehabilitation Program. Twenty percent of the funds are covered by the County and the twenty thousand dollars have been approved for its use. The new bridge will have two twelve feet lanes and two shoulders for pedestrian traffic.
