Love Creek residents seek damages from city, county
Residents of the Love Creek area have secured lawyers to file a claim against the City and county for perceived problems with the Loch Lomond Reservoir that led to the landslide as well as failure to warn the residents of the possibility of the disaster happening. Government leaders call the claim “ludicrous” and that the landslide was a result of excessive rain in a steep terrain.
