After 6 years the final lawsuits have been settled between the residents of the Love Creek area and the various agencies sued. these include the city and the county, the company that created the road up the mountain and the insurance companies who failed to pay when the disaster occurred. A total of 3.5 million dollars was paid out to 36 people.
