From bovine heaven to tourist haven

History of the property and buildings on the Frapwell Dairy built in 1914. Before that the land belonged to Hiram Scotts brother. The dairy operated until 1948 as a locker before the land and buildings were sold to house a Community Club. Then it was occupied as a club in the hippie-beatnikā€ days and several bands who would go on to be famous played there like Janis Joplin and the Grateful Dead. In the 1960s the buildings became part of Baymonte Christian School. In 1972 it became Holidy Host Travel Park.
