Norton home

The Nortons did most of the work on the old Fred Wagner Home on Highlands AVenue that was recently featured in the YWCA homes tour. The farmhouse grew out a a land grant to an Italian Sailor in the mid 1800s called the “Three Eyes of Water” for the springs that used to feed the water system of the Mission from High and Spring Street. That original house was bought and moved by John Wagner to its current location and expanded in in size. The urgent owners the Nortons have worked to preserve what was possible of the original home while modernizing where it made sense. Recent award winner of the SCOPE prize for preservation work on old homes.
