Historic homes may become country inns
The two houses are across the street from one another. The castle was built in 1926 by Robert Howden who designed it like castles from is home in Scotland including etchings on the windows of famous scenes and poems and an actual moat. It was sold to the Ivy Weatherly in 1946 who owned the castle until recently when it was sold to Virginia Blasé who had the idea of making it a lodging. Another couple is interested in the house that Buffalo Bill Cody’s brother built that has a history of hidden treasure and other colorful stories. Polly nad Michael Doyle of Boulder Creek are considering the Cody House as a B and B also.
