Article describes the conspiracy between two men, Ellsworth Beeson and C.A. Cooper, from Fresno and Walter Everton to set fire to the Hotel Ben Lomond. the hotel had recently been re-insured for $12,000 dollars which is what the claim for the damage wound up to be.
