The Last Day: Graham's Fate in the Hands of the Jury
Closing arguments presented by Defence and prosecution lawyers. Prosecution brings up that animosity between the two families began when Jesse Graham arrived from Tennessee and stated he was Captain Graham’s son by another mother. it is proposed that the Bennett family was concerned that he had arrived to take all of Capt Graham’s inheritance and not leave any for the current wife and children who were Bennetts. There is some testimony that Mary Bennett arranged for her daughter to leave town with her children and some cash and go to Hawaii.
