Voted For Fremont in Fremont, Ohio
Uncle Charley England Celebrates His 71 Birthday with the Naval Reserves

Charles W. England, the veteran caretaker of the Armory, celebrated his 71st birthday with a treat of cigars all around with the Naval Militiamen on Monday night.

Mr. England is a battle scarred veteran himself and probably that is the reason that he has a special friendship for the volunteer sailor boys of Uncle Sam. One of the proudest things in Uncle Charley's life is that he voted for John C. Fremont, the first Republican candidate for President, in Fremont, Ohio. If he lives until November he will have been voting 50 years and never once has he voted any other ticket than that of the Republican Party. He is still as hearty and lively as many a youth of 17 and his numerous friends hope for him many happy returns of the day.
