More streets and sidewalks are open downtown
More streets and sidewalks are open, as people move around the fenced-off damaged areas after the 1989 earthquake. Through the fenced-off demolished building on the west side of Pacific, the fenced-off Trust Building and the open Bank of Italy building are visible. Pedestrians move around the open areas.
