Wreck of the freighter La Feliz

Salvaging the wreck of the small coastal freighter La Feliz. On October 1, 1924, heavy seas forced the ship onto the rocks near Swanton Beach. (Later known as Natural Bridges State Beach.) The crew of 13 was rescued by people on shore. Equipment and machinery from the ship and the cargo of cases of sardines were recovered.
