North Coast Landowners Again Appeal Assessments

North coast property owners filed appeals on properties worth nearly $10 million.
Appeals were made despite a $4 million reduction in property valuations by the county assessor. Previous appeals in 1970 were unsuccessful, but new appeals aim for tax reductions. Notable appeals include Travelodge Corp. and United Artists Theater Circuit, with significant discrepancies between appraised and claimed values.
