North Coast Assessments
The Board upheld property assessments for 1970-71, disappointing property owners. Some assessments were reduced by 30% for fiscal 1971-72. Property owners may challenge the ruling in Superior Court. Changes in zoning occurred after the March 1 lien date. Current zoning effectively limits coastal property use to agriculture.
