Coastal Development Essential
This article challenges the idea the all the land being annexed in Santa Cruz should be preserved. Building houses would provide job opportunities, new housing, more taxes after residents move in, and would grow the university community. This is opposed by the citizens committee as they wish to preserve the area for farming or recreational use.
