Mission Plaza facelift planned
The author reports that the city is opening for bids a project worth $90,000 to redoing the Plaza's pathways, landscaping and irrigation system. Part of the fund is to be used to dig up old Mission historic irrigation ditch known as zanja. It is reported that, if any money is left from those works, it is hoped that some money could go towards refurbishing the fountain.
