The Santa Cruz Carnegie (Main) Library

The Santa Cruz Carnegie (Main) Library, located at the corner of Center and Church streets. The view is across the gardens at Santa Cruz City Hall to the Center Street side. The library was partially funded by a $20,000 grant from Andrew Carnegie. The library opened to the public in April 1904.
