Preston Sawyer with his automobile
Preston Sawyer posed with his automobile. He was a native Santa Cruzan who was a proofreader for the Santa Cruz Sentinel from 1935 to 1962. He collected Santa Cruz memorabilia, which was donated to the Santa Cruz Public Library and the UCSC Library upon his death. His obituary appears in the Santa Cruz Sentinel on October 14, 1968, p. 16 col. 1.
