The Frederick A. Hihn Mansion
The Frederick A. Hihn Mansion, was designed by Charles Wellington Davis and built in 1872. It was located on Church Street and was the only full Italian Villa in Santa Cruz. In 1920, it was leased by the City of Santa Cruz to use as its City Hall. Three years later, the City purchased the building. It was demolished in 1937 and replaced by the 1937-38 City Hall.
