The needlework was restored by a local art restoration expert Stan Derelian and dates back to 1870. Major repairs were needed around the farm between the textile and the glass due to mold and some fraying was repaired. The textile restorer noted that the yarn was in remarkable condition and the colors used for the dye has stood the test of time.
