Rode a White Mule

Story of Tom Maddock one of the early pioneers who came with his wife from Ireland. He lived in Marin for five years raising money for horses and he was a freight operator for the timber industry until the flume put him out of business. He bought 160 acres of property near Big Basin and attempted to farm altho things were tough with grizzly bears and foxes. He lived in that cabin until 1951.
