Fire department looking for young people to train
The department has 18 volunteers and may take 4 calls in a week or 1 per month. Chief Gene Rochelle sees the opportunity to involve more teens in activities in
Bonny Doon versus going down to Santa Cruz. There will be two training sessions a month and the young volunteers will be notified when there is an emergency to help out and gain experience.
