Lancer: November 17, 1989; Volume 28 Number 2
A 1989 newspaper from the fall semester's Advanced Journalism class of Soquel High School. Very likely collected due to its release a month after the Loma Prieta Earthquake, and a sharp focus on the moments of, via interviews, and the following impact on the community (on pages 1 & 5-8). Also included are editorials on racist tensions, environmentalism, cliques & stereotyping, active clubs, plus a collection of movie & concert reviews, last summer's six travelers to the Soviet Union, a poetry & horoscope section, and a reflection on local athletic events. Filled with cartoons and photographs, plus local advertisements.
