Partial funding request for the Living Kwanzaa Project which grew out of a four year voluntary effort to promote “African awareness and an informed appreciation of the Black heritage experience.” The request for funding was to complete a pilot project and then develop a series of activities that would foster the expressed goal of Second Saturday Education and Culture network.
