What goes around, comes around- The Circles
History of the Garfield Park Tabernacle built in the late 1800s as a main building for church camp. Church camps were increasingly popular during that time with the Methodist in Pacific Grove, the Catholics at Santa Maria Del Mar and the Baptists at Twin Lakes. Many were circular with the tabernacle in the middle and tents or cabins built around it.
