Remembering old Seabright Castle

Before the castle was there it was a snack shack selling refreshments and renting bathing suits and salt water baths. The Castle was built in 1917 and it had a restaurant on top specializing in abalone and a fountain on the bottom level. The castle was sold in 1944 and went though a series of owners and businesses before it was torn down in `967 to make way for vacation homes.
