Label touted shirts ' origin
History of the button down shirt with the label of Santa Cruzer which was highly popular in the 1940s and 1950s. The shirts were made out of wool, cotton or rayon and the Hawaiian print was won of the most sought after. While the clothing industry started in New York, and the company that made Santa Cruzer shirts started in Seattle, California branded clothing became a thing.
