Festive Ben Lomond fair has a lifesaving angle

Valley Women’s Club has offered to donate the majority of the funds raised during the upcoming Redwood Faire to the Ben Lomond fire Department for the purchase of a “Jaws of Life” device. This device is used to extricate people who are trapped in their cars after an accident or some other disaster. The Redwood Faire raises money for the community but it is also a fun events with music, food, arts and crafts, children’s events, and fun. It is held at the Highlands Park every year.
