Proceeds from the recent REdwood Mountaine Faire far exceeded the previous years to the benefit of several organizations in the Valley. Last years fundraising resulted in $10,000 and this years is $17,000. Major donations include $7,000 to be given to the Ben Lomond Fire Department for equipment, $3,000 to set up a neighborhood network for isolated communities to obtain disaster relief, and $4,000 to improve playground equipment in two playgrounds.
