Quail Hollow Ranch is Valley's newest park
Quail Hollow Ranch is to become a park and wildlife area in the county through 1.15 million dollars in combined funds between the aggregation of county bonds and an additional amount from the state because of the wildlife conservation component. other competitors for the purchase included a group that wanted to build a golf course and a builder who wanted to put up 8 homes. The park should be open to the public next year. Historic buildings on the property include Joseph Kenville’s blacksmith shop and the Benetti brothers cabin where they produced wine in the 1800s.
