Started in 1909. Had 1000 employees during World War II and 500 employees when it closed. it was sold in 1960. Many buildings and bridges in San Francisco used products from the mill including windmills, sashes, general mill works, doors and windows. it was said to be the largest mill west of the Mississippi.
