James P. Pierce Dead
James Pierce has died in Alameda after retiring there the last four years. Most of his estate has been given to his heirs already. He is survived by his second wife. In his lifetime he was the president of Santa Clara bank, and a founder of Mills College. He was involved in the lumber industry, manufacturing of wood products and in mining.
