Santa Clara Bank theft investigation
Investigator still looking at Bank of Santa Clara books to determine areas of concern. He states that he does not see evidence of forgery, however has found evidence of booking discrepancies. To help cover losses and make the bank sound, many farmers and businessman who have faith in the future of the bank have offered to pay back some of their loans. In all cases, thanks were extended but the money was refused.
