Patricia Wilder Interview on Blake-Hammond

Description of the improvements made by Florence Musgrove to the Phillipshurst house including the addition of new rooms and a music wing. Her husband supposedly hung himself in the house and is buried there after the couple divorced. The house was then sold to Mr. Smith who turned it into a home for disabled adding more wings and dormitories. The house would up in a court dispute for many years until Pat Wilder was able to purchase it for $300,000.
