As the booklet puts it: "This paper results from the many interests, thrills, enthusiasm, bits of byplay, desire for memory stimulants, and longing for a directory, that grew out of the first field week of the West Coast School of Nature Study." Its cover is an illustration of the six primary educators. Scattered in its contents are a series of chants, poems, and songs made by various professors and students; a laudatory study of the untiring chefs; a joke and gossip section; and walkthroughs of the classes and lectures had when exploring Big Basin Redwoods State Park with the professors in each one's field of study.
