This booklet accompanies an exhibit featuring the landscape art of Monterey Bay during the period of rapid growth & change following California's statehood in 1850. Acknowledgements begins the booklet, and the introduction takes one through this historic time. The booklet contains the names and mini-biographies for the artists chosen for display, and ends on a bibliography.
