Mrs. Kathryn Deutsch decided to move back to her childhood home in Ben Lomond after suffering an illness and living with her children in San Francisco. She says she feels much better now and has made friends at the Senior Center in town. She is making some changes in the old home to improve it but much of it still looks like the home her family lived in 1907. When her brother died young the family moved and the ranch has been subdivided and sold off to others except for the cottage.
