Print shop desctroyed

Fire destroys the Brookdale office of the Riptide newspaper owned by Tom MHugh. It is believed the fire started from a heater that was left on and the building is a total loss. In 1981, Tom McHugh’s house lost a roof and all of McHugh’s historical files in his home nearby. McHugh says he will rebuild.
