Summary of Harry Love's life by Jeanette Rowland

Summary of major events in Harry’s Loves as recounted by Jeanette Howland in an interview. She notes his birthplace as Vermont and through his early life he found in many campaigns including the War with Mexico and several Indian campaigns. He moved to California in 1855 and owned a sawmill. He also was the Captain of the California Rangers and is credited with capture of Joachim Murrieta for which he was awarded $5,000. He married Mary Bennett in Santa Cruz and led a tumultuous married life. he was killed by the security officer of Mary Bennett who perceived danger to Mary Bennett and shot and killed Harry Love.
