County going after $400,000 grant money to aid fish efforts to migrate

County to pursue grant funds to rehabilitate local creeks including Bean Creek, Zayante Creek, Love Creek, Clear Creek and others. Rehab proposed would be removal of culverts that block movement of salmon and other fish, sediment control, and clearing of debris. The total grant monies requested equals $400,000 for work on all of the affected creeks to be requested from monies made available from the Fisheries Restoration Act of 1985.
