Ben Lomond Community Library will be moving to a volunteer staffed model to prevent the closure of the facility. This is a similar decision that other libraries in the county have recently made to prevent the same fate. Faye Ellis, spokesperson, has said they have also received cash donations and gently used books to upgrade the library. Hours are being increased and a children’s story time activitiy has been added.
