Letter from Dan dormeyer

Letter relates to his experiences growing up in Ben Lomon as a first grader and then later visits when in High School. He talks about the maiden ladies up the road from school with apples and lots of cats. he talks about the Widow Brown who he helped churn butter and her chickens, he stayed with another family friend and helped keep the fires going in the kitchen and sometimes helped cook. Another family had a farm with goats and he learned how to milk the nanny goat and ride in a wagon with the billy goat. As Dan put it
