Summary of Ben Hotel Fire Trials
Trials of Cooper, Everton and Beeson. Part owner Curran did not get charged due to insufficient evidence. All charged with the arson plead guilty to the fire in some form. Everton was sent to Folsom prison for 3 years for starting the fire. Beeson was charged for taking money under false pretenses and was sent to Folsom prison for six years. Also mention of a possible connection between other fires of which the Hotel Ben Lomond is the latest.
