SLV Scottish Tradition will be celebrated

Description of the origin of many of the Scottish names in the area. While some of the Scottish names were given by a man from Scotland, pioneer John burns, most of the other names have been due to a desire to keep the spirit of Scottish heritage alive. These include road names, the local reservoir Loch Lomond, local hotels and the Presbyterian Church. According to Faye Ellis, the actual settlers of the valley were mostly from New England.
