County has its share of earthquakes
The San Andreas Fault is the only active fault in the area that could cause major surface area rupture. There are multiple potentially active faults with moderate potential for surface disruption. the San Andreas Fault is capable of an 8.0 to 8.5 earthquake every 100-300 years.
