Gossip around town about neighbors. There is mention of Jason Brown who they met about a year after returning from San Francisco. He would come down to their house when they were living at the Parker House and have lunch with them. He always offered to pay but her mother said he was welcome. Also mention of C. P. Davis who gave a grand ball for Ben Lomond residents.
