Jerry Korb is descended from John Brown’s first wife who had her great grandmother Ruth while John Brown was away fighting in Kansas. In addition Korb’s great grandfather was Henry Thomson who was one of the raiders aligned with John Brown. She is related through several cousins to John Brown.
