Letter to Faye Ellis from John Brown's Farm and Grave Historic Site- March 11, 1985

Jason Brown moved to Southern California to live with his brother Owen for 4-5 years. His wife died there and after Owen died Jason returned to Kansas for a short time before moving back to California in 1893. He appears to have lived in California until 1900, mostly in Ben Lomond. He lived in Ben Lomond and was always a pacifist and anti-slavery.
