River House destroyed in early morning blaze

Fire broke out in the early morning from an unknown source in a century old building that housed a well known restaurant, the offices of Loyal Smith, and a post office that had been on site for 35 years. The firefighters keep the blaze from spreading but the building was a total loss. The tenants are unsure whether they will rebuild again.
